- Residential address and tax domicile
- A description of the work you plan to do
- Planned start date
- Residence permit, for non-EU citizens
- Any professional qualifications or registrations, if the work is regulated

Check your residence permit
If you’re a non-EU citizen, check that your residence permit allows you to work for yourself.
Having a residence permit does not automatically register you for VAT: you must apply separately. Migrant Integration Portal
After registering
You’ll also need to check:
- The most suitable tax regime
- Registration with INPS’s Separate Management scheme or a professional pension fund
